Management Team

 

Richard Morgan: President/Owner

Dick Morgan has been with Higdon, Inc. since 1973 and is a third generation (by marriage) owner of this long established company.  Dick has extensive  experience in sales of office equipment and office furniture and specializes in digital recording solutions.  Dick has received numerous sales awards from  various manufacturers including IBM, Lexmark, and Olympus.  Dick is a retired Captain in the US Navy, having served over 24 years combined active and  reserve duty.  Active in various business organizations and in his local community, Dick has received a variety of community service awards, including  McDaniel College Alumnus of the Year.  

Chuck Johnson: Director, Technical Services

Chuck Johnson joined Higdon in February 1981. Chuck has extensive training in Microsoft server products and is currently employed by Higdon as their   senior systems engineer. Chuck has been working on VIQ recording products for over 15 years. He has an extensive knowledge of all products and  performs routine installations as well as providing support for those systems on a daily basis. Chuck provides support for problems, patches, upgrades  and even provides training for IT departments or individuals that are required to keep the systems running. Chuck has been certified as an Encompass   Suite Advanced Software Technician by VIQ.

Steven Macht: Director, Voice Systems Solutions

Steve Macht joins Higdon, Inc with more than twenty five years experience in sales and information systems management.  Prior to working at Higdon, Steve worked at VIQ Solutions as GSA and VAR Program Director, where he was responsible for the development of sales presentation systems; the training/support of VIQ Solutions Eastern US Dealer Network; the management of RFP process for local, state and federal procurement systems.  During his time at Higdon, Steve performed all sales and technology support services including presentations, application demonstration, training, process integration, installation, and technical support. Other positions held include Director of Information Technology within the insurance and defense industries. He has proven ability to deploy technology in support of critical business processes with an emphasis on analysis and project management, bringing analytical skills and tools to the sales environment.
